WINNIPEG, Nov. 10, 2011 /CNW/ - Exchange Income Corporation (TSX: EIF) (the "Corporation"), announced the appointment of Ms. Serena Kraayeveld, B.Comm (Hons), FCA, ICD.D, as an independent director of the company effective today.

"Serena's appointment will enable Exchange to benefit from her knowledge and experience, especially in matters of governance, taxation, and corporate transactions, and in the further the development of our corporate strategy."
Ms. Kraayeveld was previously the managing partner of the Winnipeg office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and prior to that was the partner in charge of the Winnipeg tax group. In those capacities, she had extensive experience in providing tax and business advisory services to both public and private clients in a broad range of industries.
Ms. Kraayeveld is currently a director of CAA Manitoba and Niakwa Country Club. She previously served as a council member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba and was a governor of the Canadian Tax Foundation. In addition, she served as the chair of the Tomorrow Fund of the United Way of Winnipeg and was a board member of the YMCA YWCA of Winnipeg, Ducks Unlimited Canada, the Manitoba Theatre Centre and the United Way of Winnipeg.
