CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 30, 2007) - ATCO Frontec has been awarded its first-ever contract with the United Nations to provide camp support and food services to the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK).
ATCO Frontec is delivering support services at several camps in Kosovo, used by members of international military police units serving with the mission. Work began last month.

The contract lasted three years, during which time ATCO Frontec consistently earned superior performance ratings from the Canadian Forces for the delivery of outstanding support services. Since that inaugural contract in this industry, ATCO Frontec has been chosen by various organizations to provide support to military operations, large-scale training exercises, and disaster relief projects in remote locations around the world.
ATCO Frontec currently provides advanced information systems technological support to the NATO and European Union Stabilization Force at several locations in Bosnia, site support services to the Swedish Armed Forces in Kosovo, and also delivers camp support services, equipment maintenance, and engineering support to NATO troops at the Kabul Afghanistan International Airport.
